Disassemble the worm gear reducer assembly
1. Clean and deburr the parts before assembly, and verify the dimensions, geometric shape, accuracy, surface roughness, etc. according to the drawing requirements.
2. Lubricating oil should be applied to the mating surfaces between the worm gear and the shaft, as well as between the bearings and the shaft, before pressing them in.
3. If the worm gear is assembled, the worm gear ring should be pressed onto the hub and tightened first.
4. The commonly used methods for installing the worm gear on the shaft are press fit assembly and heating assembly.
5. Install the worm gear shaft assembly into the casing, and then install the worm gear into the casing. The axis of the worm gear should be aligned with the middle plane of the worm gear, and its deviation should comply with the regulations.
6. The assembly of bearings and shaft shoulders, bearings and covers should be suitable, and after compression, the rotation should be flexible.
7. After assembly, the worm gear transmission mechanism needs to be checked for its transmission flexibility. The required rotational torque of the worm gear should be basically equal at any position.
8. Remove the belt cover, V-belt, and pulley, disassemble the coupling, bolts, and hoist the motor.
9. Remove the bolts from the two end covers of the worm gear and the dividing surface of the reducer. Lift the upper cover of the casing and place it on the rubber plate to prevent damage to the middle dividing surface. Clean the upper cover and check for oil leakage at the fastening bolts.
10. Disassemble the lubrication system, remove the worm wheel lock nut, use a special tool to remove the worm wheel, and check the meshing between the worm wheel and the worm, including contact area, position, wear, etc.
11. Disassemble the oil seal, clean the chassis, and inspect and handle the middle split surface.
3. Check the worm gear, worm gear, and shaft
1. If the worm gear is severely worn, corroded, or glued (adhesive tearing), it can be replaced or repaired by modifying the worm gear, or the worm gear can be reconfigured.
2. The worm gear and worm gear teeth have mild adhesion, pitting corrosion, and some tooth surfaces have defects, which can be repaired by welding, milling, scraping, and grinding methods.
3. The wear of the shaft neck can be repaired by spraying, brushing, electroplating and grinding methods. The keyway on the shaft is damaged, and the keyway can be reworked at a phase 120 ° away from the original keyway.
