Lubricants of different grades or from different manufacturers of the same grade must not be mixed. Before replacing the lubricant, it must be cleaned thoroughly. Regular thorough cleaning can also help to remove metal particles inside the gear, avoiding long-term operation and tooth wear. The working environment is poor, and inspection and maintenance should be strengthened to shorten the frequency of oil changes and seals.

Attention should be paid to the maintenance and upkeep of deceleration transmission equipment during use.

The maintenance and upkeep of deceleration motors from different brands may vary. For specific details, please refer to the relevant manuals

The bearing life of the main body of the deceleration motor is normally designed based on long-term life, but it also needs to be regularly inspected and maintained according to requirements (the motor nameplate will indicate the maintenance grease and maintenance cycle).

The service life of oil seals is closely related to the working environment and operating conditions. It is recommended to check them once a month. If any abnormal situations such as oil leakage or abnormal noise are found, they should be dealt with in a timely manner.

The general load industrial closed gear oil used in gear reducers is No. 220 (or No. 320), and special gear lubricating oil is used in special cases.

Regular maintenance and upkeep, pay attention to checking the oil level, oil temperature, and tightening degree of bolts. Most of the oil level can be observed through the oil level sight glass.

When the ambient temperature is too high or too low, synthetic gear oil can be used, and industrial gear oil with cold load can also be used at low temperatures. Special attention should be paid to the applicable ambient temperature of different grades of lubricating oil. Under winter or low temperature conditions, lubricating grease formulated with low freezing point and low viscosity oil should be selected; High drop point lubricating grease should be selected under summer or high temperature conditions.

In northern regions, it is important to pay attention to the suitability of lubricating oil when the ambient temperature is too low, and make timely adjustments to avoid damage to the reduction motor caused by incorrect selection of lubricating oil
