An increase in oil temperature can cause the rubber seal inside the transmission clutch to age, leading to deformation and cracking, reducing its performance and service life, resulting in poor connection between the clutch active plates, slipping between the active plates, incomplete clutch separation, increased frictional resistance, and severe wear of the accelerating clutch friction plates.
During the operation of servo planetary gearboxes, deformation may occur due to various factors. Here are some methods to prevent deformation

Provide a solid and flat installation foundation for the gearbox. If the installation foundation is not stable, the gearbox will experience uneven force due to vibration during operation, leading to deformation of the machine body. For example, installing the gearbox on a specially designed concrete base, the thickness and strength of the concrete base should be calculated and determined based on the weight of the gearbox and the dynamic loads generated during operation. The thickness of the base of a typical small servo planetary gearbox can be around 20-30 centimeters, and it is necessary to ensure that the flatness error of the base surface is within a certain range, such as not exceeding 0.1 millimeters per meter.
If it is necessary to reduce the weight of gears through drilling, then we should arrange the drilling process after heat treatment
In the normalization or quality adjustment process of servo planetary reducers, it is necessary to maintain uniform furnace temperature to evenly heat and cool the workpieces, and it is strictly prohibited to stack them together.
3. The heat treatment method for the reducer gear adopts high-frequency quenching of the tooth surface, which reduces the deformation of the parts; The tooth surface obtained after high-frequency quenching has high strength, hardness, and wear resistance, while the center still maintains sufficient plasticity and toughness.
4. In order to reduce the deformation of planetary gear reducer equipment, the high-frequency quenching of the tooth surface should use lower quenching temperature and shorter heating time, uniform heating and slow cooling.
