Selection criteria for lubricating oil
Viscosity and type
Worm gear reducer: Priority should be given to using VG220~VG460 viscosity grade compression gear oil (ISO standard), and synthetic ester low-temperature oil should be used when the ambient temperature is ≤ -5 ℃. The oil product should contain ≥ 3% zinc dithiophosphate (ZDDP) anti-wear agent, with a four ball pressure value greater than 400N136.
Hard tooth surface gear reducer: N220 industrial gear oil or ISO VG220 lubricating oil is used at room temperature environment; High temperature/frequent start stop conditions require synthetic oils such as Mobil 632 and Shell 320, and mixing different types of oils is prohibited.
High speed worm gear (sliding speed VS>10m/s): Forced oil injection lubrication must be used, and the viscosity index (VI) of the lubricating oil should be greater than 1002810.

Vertical installation of worm gear reducer: The oil level is between 1/3 below and 1/3 above the axis of the worm gear, with a range of 16.
Oil free window model: Inject oil at 85% of the volume indicated on the nameplate.
Special type requirements
Hardened reducer:
Horizontal: oil window centerline position (oil dipstick inserted into the bottom of the tank at a depth of 55-65mm)
Oblique installation: The oil level of the first plate is 285-300mm, and the oil level of the second plate is 215-225mm47.
Cycloid reducer: based on the centerline of the oil window
Oil change cycle and status monitoring
Oil change interval
Normal operating conditions:
Worm gear reducer: continuous operation for 2000 hours or 3 months; Intermittent use ≤ 6 months 16.
Hard tooth surface reducer: 8000 hours, 9 every 20000 hours thereafter.
Harsh working conditions:
Temperature>80 ℃: Cycle shortened by 30%.
Dust/high temperature environment: Check the oil quality every half month.
Oil quality monitoring
Monthly testing: If the moisture content is greater than 0.1% or the iron spectrum abrasive particles are greater than 500ppm, the oil should be changed immediately.
Oil pool temperature: temperature rise ≤ 35 ℃, high temperature ≤ 100 ℃ (worm gear) or 60 ℃ (hard tooth surface) 589.
4、 Refueling operation process standard
pretreatment
Shutdown cooling for more than 2 hours, oil temperature drops below 60 ℃.
Clean the oil inlet and outlet, and wipe them with a lint free cloth.
Oil injection specifications
Third level filtration: oil drum → fixed oil pot → oil injector (filter screen ≥ 200 mesh) 1.
Graded oil injection: speed ≤ 0.5L/min, complete 6 in 3 intervals of 10 minutes.
Cleaning requirements: Before changing the oil, rinse with the same brand of cleaning oil (30% rated oil) for 15 minutes and 3 cycles.
5、 Special working condition handling standards
Installation method adaptation
Vertical installation/reverse operation: Install auxiliary lubricating oil passage 36 on the non working side.
Multi level series system: equipped with pressure equalization tube anti siphon 1.
Environmental adaptability
If the temperature exceeds the range of -10 ℃~50 ℃: choose synthetic oil and adjust the viscosity to 9.
Long term disuse (>12 months): Lubricating oil must be replaced before resuming use
Sealing detection
After oil injection, run without load for 30 minutes. If the oil leakage rate is greater than 1 drop/minute, seal 6 needs to be replaced.
