Customers tend to choose this configuration method for the purpose of protecting motors and reducers. When the belt slips, the motor current generally decreases. Because the motor spindle cannot output normal torque when slipping, the load is reduced and the current naturally decreases. At this point, the motor is only subjected to the friction of the motor bearings and the sliding belt, rather than the resistance of the load.

Split type reducers generally come in chain and belt types.Split type reducers generally come in chain and belt types.

Abnormal belt slippage:
There are three situations where the belt slippage between the motor and the load can cause: 1. Mismatch between the motor and the load; 2. There are areas where the load is stuck (or where the load has damaged bearings); The belt is too loose. Belt slippage can cause the motor to not run at full speed, resulting in an increase in motor current.

Advantages of integrated reducer:
Space saving, reliable and durable, with high overload capacity,
Low energy consumption, superior performance, and high efficiency of the gearbox
Low vibration, low noise, high energy efficiency,
