Gearboxes are very important in the mechanical industry. Due to different mechanical equipment, the reducers used are also different. When choosing such products, it is necessary to first consider the various performance aspects of the product and choose the suitable product for use. Regardless of which product is used, there are many issues that need to be noted, and it is necessary to understand them before use. Next, let me introduce the precautions for using turbine reducers.

1. Please control the load torque (output torque) below the rated output torque.

2. When using clutches and brakes for intermittent operation, please confirm the action time of the clutches and brakes. The action time of clutches and brakes is related to their own characteristics, the rotational speed of the action shaft, pulley, etc., and the moment of inertia.

3. When installing a detection switch, please confirm the response time for the detection up switch. When the input shaft rotation speed is too fast, there may be situations where detection fails.

4. For applications other than dividing heads, please confirm their characteristic values. Please note that the nominal reduction ratio of CMG reducers may sometimes differ from the actual reduction ratio.

5. For easy inspection, disassembly, and assembly, please place the oil meter in a location that can be confirmed.

6. In order to replace lubricating oil in piping (not required for GRG reducers), when assembling reducers with automation facilities, it is sometimes not possible to replace lubricating oil. In this situation, it is recommended to install piping for the oil supply and discharge ports of the reducer during the assembly of the automatic device, and explore how to conveniently replace the lubricating oil.

7. Lubricating oil has been injected into the gearbox. During use, oil may seep out of the sealed area. Therefore, while implementing regular inspections, please install oil receivers in situations where oil leakage has adverse effects on the workpiece.

The main feature of a worm gear reducer is its reverse self-locking function, which allows for a larger reduction ratio. The input shaft and output shaft are not on the same axis or plane. But generally, the volume is large, the transmission efficiency is not high, and the accuracy is not high. The harmonic drive of harmonic reducer utilizes the controllable elastic deformation of flexible components to transmit motion and power. It has a small volume and high accuracy, but the disadvantages are limited service life of the flexible wheel, lack of impact resistance, and poor rigidity compared to metal parts. The input speed cannot be too high. The advantages of planetary gearboxes are compact structure, small return clearance, high precision, long service life, and the ability to achieve a large rated output torque.
